Arriving by Train

The closest train station to the Barceló Hinckley Island Hotel is Hinckley (HNK), situated just 2 miles away.  Alternatively, 5 miles away there is also Nuneaton train station (NUN), serviceable from both Birmingham New Street Station (BHM), which is a central hub train station reachable from most major cities and airports in the UK, and Birmingham International Airport (BHI) by Cross Country Trains.  Prices start from approximately £13.00 upwards and vary based on time and class of travel.

Shuttle Service

The convention is currently in the final stages of negotiation for supplying a shuttle bus service from some of the key regional transport hubs, including Birmingham Airport and Nuneaton trains station.  More information regarding this service will become available in March.  Please check back for further updates.

Arriving by Coach

A number of competitive coach services such as National Express and Megabus are available to all major surrounding cities, including Birmingham, Leicester, and Coventry.  There is no direct bus route to the hotel itself.

Arriving by Plane

The closest airport is Birmingham International (BHX), which operates a selection of direct flights from mainland Europe, as well as connecting flights from a number of US destinations.  The airport features a train service which offers connections to Nuneaton and Hinckely, both in close proximity to the Barceló Hinckley Island Hotel.

A Shuttle Bus service is currently under negotiation to provide a service on Friday 25th May from the airport to the hotel at set times.  In addition, a return service will be available, also at set times, on Monday 28th May from the hotel back to Birmingham International Airport.  More information will be available under ‘Shuttle Service’ in March.

All other major UK international airports such as London Heathrow (LHR), London Gatwick (LGW), London Stantead (STN), and Manchester International (MAN), are all serviceable via train connections to Birmingham New Street station.
