ConFuzzled 2012 will take place in Hinckley, a market town in south west Leicestershire.
Why Hinckley?
Not only is Hinckley a mere five miles from the geographic centre of England, it is also the dictionary definition of the quaint country town. Well connected to the road transport network near the M6, it also has excellent rail links from most of England’s major airports.
What’s nearby?
As a typical English town, you’ll find Hinckley quieter and a more peaceful location than ConFuzzled’s previous metropolitan venues, but you’ll find many restaurants, local pubs, supermarkets and a bustling town centre within five to fifteen minutes drive from the hotel.
What’s further afield?
If you’re after a little more than just the convention, there are many places of interest to visit within the county of Leicestershire. Twycross Zoo, the National Space Centre, the University of Leicester Botanic Gardens and the Great Central Heritage Railway are just some of the key attractions that are all within 20 minutes drive from our venue. Not forgetting the grand city of Leicester itself that features many shops and museums, and the beautiful countryside that surrounds all of Hinckley. Also, just a stones throw away is the Coventry Transport Museum, a must see free attraction for all the motorfur enthusiasts.
