The Barceló Hinckley Island Hotel’s four star rating is reflected nowhere better than in the quality and high standard of the bedrooms. No matter how hard you party, you can be sure that all of them will provide respite and a place to recover from the bustle of the convention.
All bedrooms feature en-suite bathrooms, Television, hair-dryer, iron and ironing board, trouser press, clock-radio, 24 hour room service, telephone*, access to hotel Wi-Fi* and tea & coffee facilities to perk you up before breakfast.
Below is a quick overview of the variety of rooms of offer that you can choose from. All rooms are subject to availability on a first come, first served basis. Full prices can be found on our Attending & Pricing page.
Double Room
Spacious in size, and boasting contemporary decor and furnishings, the double room is an ideal haven to take a respite from the shenanigans of the convention. All rooms include a small dining table and two chairs, as well as a spacious wardrobe for storage, and a compact en-suite bathroom with bath and shower facilities. Some variations of the room may include an easy chair or small sofa.
Double Rooms are included in the convention fee for Residential attendees based on two people sharing a room.† Single occupancy concessions are available at an additional premium.
Twin Room
Spacious in size, the twin room comprises of all the features of the standard doubles, but offers two separate beds. It includes also a desk/work surface, ideal for artists or writers to take peaceful sanctuary away from the bustle of the convention and work on their projects, as well as easy chairs as standard, and larger dressing areas.
The twin rooms can additionally be used for a room share of up to four people, based on two people sharing a double bed.
Deluxe Double
For those wishing to upgrade, on offer are the more spacious and catered for Deluxe Double bedrooms. These rooms boast not only the difference of an American King Size bed, they also include a comfy seating area with sofa and chair, ideal for private socialising, a separate desk and chair for working, more dressing space, but also a larger en-suite bathroom which includes separate bath and walk-in jet-shower facilities. On top of this, you also have a fully controllable air conditioning system at your disposal for creating a more comfortable environment.
The Deluxe Double is available for an additional fee and is limited in availability. Rooms will be allocated on a first come, first paid basis so please ensure to book and pay early to avoid disappointment.
Rentable Party Suites
Fancy living the high life for a night? Want to know what it’s like to be a movie star? Why not throw your own Hollywood themed party!
New for 2012, ConFuzzled is proud to offer the option of rentable suites, ideal for larger private gatherings and celebrations, or perhaps just for a romantic night for two. Booking a party suite is an ideal way to make sure you have private space just for yourself
The premium features of the Suites include an American King size bed, arm chair and a 40″ LCD TV in the master bedroom, a separate lounge room with dining area and a second television centered around a picturesque fire place. Suites also include a large work desk, a full bathroom with walk-in jet-shower, additional second separate W.C., and controllable air conditioning.
These suites sharply reflect the overall quality of the four-star hotel and are the crème-de-la-crème of the Barceló’s room offerings. They truly offer attendees the opportunity to experience the real Glitz and Glamour lifestyle of a movie star. .

- Cost
- £75 per room for the night, for exclusive, un-restricted access.
- This rate is not inclusive of regular convention fees and is paid in addition to your regular con membership.

- Registration will open in February
- To ensure equal opportunity for everyone, bookings are limited to 1 night per attendee for the duration of the convention.
- Bookings are open to residential attendees only.
- Bookings are based on a 1st come, 1st served basis, with limited availability.
- Only available to fully paid registered attendees. If your main convention registration is still pending, you will not be eligible to book a party suite.
- Payment to be received within 1 week of booking, with 1 week for clearing. If payment is not received by this time, you are liable to have your party suite booking cancelled and the space re-allocated.
- Room ownership will be from 3pm check in on day of booking, until 11am check out time the following day.
- A major credit or debit card in your name is required to be presented to the hotel reception at check in to the party suite.
- Normal convention policy applies regarding the misuse, abuse of, and damage to the rooms. Individuals will be held accountable directly to the hotel (Barceló Hinkley Island).
- These terms are in addition to the ConFuzzled terms of sale for your main registration and the standard code of conduct will apply to all bookings, including that it is strictly forbidden to allow “Attending Only” members to stay overnight in the room.
- The purchase of a party suite is in addition to your regular membership level and does not restrict in any way access to your normal bedroom.
- Rates are non negotiable and there is no half day booking options available.
- Availability
- 4 Suites available for booking for each night of the convention, including early arrival and late departure, totalling 20 slots of availability.
- Bookings are based on first come, first served. If there are no available slots for your requested booking, if available, an alternative slot will be suggested.
