Consider yourself an artist? Want to strut your stuff? Fancy making a little bit of cash from your talents?
If you’re coming to ConFuzzled, we’ll have space available in our bustling Dealers’ Den where you can show off what you can do – be it drawn, digital, photographic or sculpted. If you’re eager to make a sale, put some of your work up for auction – either for charity or for profit.
How big is the Auction Display?
This year’s auction space is approximately 1386 sq. ft (128 sq. m), which is at least twice as big as the art show in 2011, providing us with much more space, and plenty more room to show off the fantastic creations submitted for auction by the community.
How do I get a place?
To submit items to the Auction, bring your work on Friday to the Art Show (Mayfair Suite). After auction pre-bidding opens on Saturday, auction submissions will be at staff discretion.
Live Auction
Once two or more bids have been made on an item, it may be put through to the live auction. If it reaches four bids it will automatically be put in to the live auction.
The live auction in 2012 will once again be conducted by Twll and Rizzorat.
Here, you’ll have the chance to pick up some fantastic art work and other items, and maybe even some hotel property that’s been graffitied on by our Guest of Honour, while at the same time raising money for charity.
With the help of Microsoft, 2011′s live auction raised a record amount, but this year we hope to make even more for our charity, so get your wallets ready.
Payment
Payment can be made by Cash or Card.
This year we will be accepting payments from just after the end of the live auction and on Monday morning. However, no collections may be made until Monday morning. We would advise you to pay as early as possible, as this will significantly speed up the collection process for everyone.
If you pay on the Sunday evening you will be required to bring your receipt with you to collection on Monday morning to verify that you have paid.
Opening Hours
Friday: Submissions only
Saturday: 9:00-18:00 (9:00-10:00 Sponsors only)
Sunday: 9:00-17:30
Then the Art Auction Sunday evening in the main stage area.
Monday: Collections only via the Dealers Den
