Our Venue
ConFuzzled 2008 is due to be held at the 4 Star YHA International, Manchester.
It is one of the most modern Youth Hostels in the country and has won awards for it's environmental efforts. It was purpose-built in 1995. The hostel enjoys a canal-side location close to the heart of the rejuvenated city centre.
What do we offer?
It's fully accessible for wheelchair users (including some of the rooms) and will be upgraded to help those with vision difficulties.
You'll get the accommodation in this superb venue as well as 3 meals a day for a very good price. Dietary needs are not an issue!
The Rooms
All of the rooms are en-suite as well as having secure lockers.
Padlocks are also available from reception if you need them!
Some rooms have TV's in.

NB: The Youth Hostel will be undergoing refurbishment between January and March 2008, so it may look a bit different by the time the convention starts.

For those of you who are artists and concerned about a quiet place, we've got the Artists Avenue for you as well as a fursuiters lounge for those with fuzzier requirements.

Why a Youth Hostel?
Eurofurence started out in 1995 with 18 people in a farmhouse in Germany, and is now the world's longest running ACTIVE furry convention.
Times have changed since then, and with over 100 UK attendees at Eurofurence 13 we figured we should start with somewhere a little bigger.
The Manchester International Youth Hostel has provided us with 144 beds and a venue that's top notch, which is exactly what we and you would like.
It's around 20 minutes by train from Manchester International Airport, within easy walking distance of Deansgate G-Mex railway station and Metrolink stop, and not far from Manchester Central Coach Station.

The Youth Hostel is adjacent to Castlefield Basin on the Bridgewater Canal.
