Well, that was a massive blast!There's really way way too much to type up in one post but I really want to say thank you to all the attendees for the massive praise you've been sending into us. To say it's overwhelming is an understatement.Our guest of honour did a wonderful job of the events he ran and we'll look forward to seeing you at EF.Thank You to BBF, Kenai, Swolf, Graafen for the dances you provided, everyone loved them. Everyone who took part in all the other countless events as well, thank you for the wonderful memories we all now have. I'm home, I'm sorry to leave early and didn't have time to hugs everybody! I did book the taxi at 11am right after the photos shoot, next time, I won't book taxi till I'm ready! Confuzzled - a MASSIVE thank you!
[I do hope this'll be okay to post here >.>]Well the CF comedown is well underway - I got in last night and had myself a nice hot bath to relax after taking Winged and Lynx home (miss you all already!)I'd like to take the opportunity to thank everybody for making the con such a wonderful experience for myself - from the staff at the hostel to our very own set of ConFuzzled staff members, who never stopped working to make it an awesome experience - great job guys :) and also to everyone who stopped by my table in the Den and commissioned me, you've helped to inspire me to draw more, and knowing next year's theme at the end of the con will certainly help with the preparation for next year's event ;)And the suiters, oh gawds they were amazing! - there was rather the influx of meerkats this year - and I'm still trying to figure out where timduru gets all that energy from, guy never stopped all con :DThere was something about the experience that's put me in such a good mood, I'm feeling proper positive at the moment - both artistically and just generally in life *happykittybounces*Right, now for some work, I'm here at my desk, sipping tea from a mug with a certain badger on it ;) Gotten the photos and videos downloaded from my camera/phone last night so will work on getting them Photobucketed and whatnot this evening when I get home from work :)Peace and Pocky to you all ^^
Directions to the Youth Hostel
Okay. For the people that don't know Manchester so well, directions to the Youth hostel can be found at http://www.yha.org.uk/find-accommodation/north-west-cities/hostels/manchester/travel_info.aspx . If you are coming from abroad into Manchester Airport, there is a train that goes to Manchester Piccadilly Station. Sorry that the directions on this site aren't as detailed as the ones on the confuzzled site, it was the best we could find.-Cosmo, Tungro and Twll
A Last Minute Reminder!
Hi Everyone, Just to clarify as a few people have been calling and checking with us, the YHA *DOES* provide bed linen, but they *DO NOT* provide towels. Passport Panic!!
My passport has seemingly done a runner somewhere between here and there and everywhere in between. I have on me Cineworld Cinema ID (unlimited card) which has a photo and a number of credit cards, each of which you need to be over 18 to have. I cannot for the life of me find something with my DOB on it. Im in such a flutter. I wont be home as of NOW and I have no idea where the damn passport is !! Please let me knwo it will be okay...PANIC OVER! My bag has a hidden pocket to the passport dimension... I never knew that existed..

Our fantastic Editor, Twll/Jinxxy/Pumathing has put up a short editorial called "A Short History Of A Tall Order" on making a conbook from the start to the end and what his thoughts were about producing it.It's been a great journey from start to finish and without everyone involved, we couldn't have got it completed. Another Milestone Reached!
I'd just like to say after many many manhours spent over many months, 36 pages written and around 10,000+ words (excluding adverts), the ConFuzzled 2008 conbook is now finally complete and is with the printers!Many thanks to all the staff involved, especially Twll who's not had much sleep lately. ;)We now look forward to giving you a copy at the convention!
Masquerade + Furrylimpics!
Hello Everyone!We're posting this here too as we know quite a few people seem to miss the emails we're sending out!Just to let you know, before we get started with the info about the Masquerade and Furrylimpics, we're going to email everyone who's attending ConFuzzled with a final email one week before the convention with important information about the convention.However, there's something equally as important!We want YOU to be involved!There's two great events that we'd love you to join in with if you have a fursuit.Anyone at all is welcome to join in, no matter how new to fursuiting you are.The more people that want to do things, the better for everyone!MASQUERADE: - We really need more people for this!YOU MUST EMAIL BEFORE 1st June to get into the Masquerade.This is your chance to shine like the star that you are!The masquerade is one of the big events of ConFuzzled and we'll have our staff and attendees on stage to perform in our live multi-act show.We're looking for fursuit skits, musical performers and puppet performers to appear.If you wish to do a solo or group performance, please tell us on the email address below who will be in your performance slot.There will be a non public on Saturday Morning in a private room.Should your performance require any kind of music (either live or pre-recorded), you must tell us in the email and bring it with you to hand over at registration.You need to bring the music in the CD, DVD, or USB stick (unprotected formats of AAC/FLAC/MP3 192k+ or higher please!) with you and your script (if you have one) to the rehearsal.You can bring your own props as well. We will help if you need chairs and tables.FURRYLIMPICS:YOU MUST EMAIL BEFORE 4th June to get into Furrylimpics.Furrylimpics will be held outside or in our main stage (badger) area in case of bad weather.We're after people to be in teams of four, with 16 people overall.There will be four rounds including cats vs dogs, 'dog bone' relay race, musical chairs, hula-hoop madness and "Peg It!" a game of our own invention!We say this is "It's a Knockout meets Takeshi's Castle", But we are hoping that you do NOT end up IN THE CANAL! We've selected the charity for ConFuzzled 2008, and you'd be right if you reckoned Brok had a little something to do with it.The Badgers Trust is all about the welfare and conservation of badgers, their setts and their habitats, and we're happy to announce that for this years convention, they are our chosen charity.More information can be found here.
